Southern Colorado's Premier Competition

As an effort to promote business development, the Healy Center has founded a unique and exciting opportunity for the surrounding southern community of Colorado - introducing the SoCo Entrepreneurship Competition. The SoCo Competition has two divisions: STUDENT & ADULT.

STUDENT:

In the student division, students (limited to high school and under) can compete with their business ideas in front of a panel of local business owners who judge. The prizes include a $4,000 scholarship to Hasan School of Business and various other cash prizes.

ADULT:

The adult division is similar to hit television show Shark Tank. Adults present their business or business ideas in front of real "sharks" - venture capitalists, who may decide to invest in their business by providing "seed" money to startup their business.
