Adult Division
The Adult Competition is a sub-divison of the SoCo Entrepreneurship Competition. Individuals from all over the state compete to pitch their business plans to a panel of actual venture capitalists that could potentially fund their product, project, or business venture. The intent of the competition is to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and action in the community.

The SoCo Entrepreneurship Competition is southern Colorado's largest competition for
entrepreneurship opportunity in the region. Individuals or teams compete to pitch their business
plan to be incorporated within the community. The entire competition is split into two
divisions. There is the Student Business Plan Competition and the Adult Venture Capitalist
Competition. The Student Division is evaluated by a panel of judges who select finalists to take
home a scholarship to CSU-Pueblo and cash prizes. The Adult Division is judged by real venture
capitalists who may decide to invest in your business or business idea by providing venture
'capital' seed money or loans.
Each adult business plan submitted must list only one (1) author, to whom any and all prizes
will be awarded. Up to three people may present on stage during the finale, including the
author. Also note: please read over official "Rules of Submission" to determine all requirements
are met during registration.

For the Adult Competition, there is a small fee that accompanies registration. This fee is $10
for entry into the competition and to process your application.
