STUDENT DIVISION:
Brian Salay, co-owner of Storymode Films, kicked off the event with being our student emcee.
We were very excited to have Jake Jabs be our keynote speaker, speaking to our student competitors on entrepreneurship and business principles.
We had a great panel composed of business leaders from around the communnity as our judges.
Mike Zavislan was one of our student judges who got to help select the best business ideas.

Dalton B. competed in the SoCo Competition and was one of the winners to bring home $500.
Rebekah C. competed in the SoCo Competition and was one of the winners to bring home $250.
Rosa M. competed in the SoCo Competition and was one of the winners to bring home $500.
Luke C. was this year's winner taking first place with his woodwork photography business.
We had very interesting and exciting ideas presented by this year's student division. Congrats to all the winners!
ADULT DIVISION:
We had quite a variety of venture capitalists particpate in this year's adult division.
Dianna Hall, owner of ActivArmor, and past competitor of the SoCo Competition, presented at SoCo this year.

This group came from CSU-Pueblo to present their new business idea for a cleaning business.
Another finalist, pitches his business idea to the venture capitalists.
This competitor pitched his idea of crime-mapping software as a SaaS type of business.
This competitor presented a business pitch that would be similar to popular mobile app LetItGo
Phillip was awarded $1,000 in legal fees for his business.
The group from CSU-Pueblo was awarded one year of space in a Pueblo Plex igloo.
This year offered fresh and exciting ideas. Congrats to those that received investments.
